A Fun, Hard to Find, GameRobot Alchemic Drive or RAD is a PS2 game where you pilot a building size robot called a Meganite.

These are human controlled battle machines which fight against similarly sized invaders. The catch is that the Meganites are controlled remotely by a device which looks like a PS2 controller. Madden nfl 2004 soundtrack. In the game you are constantly controlling both your human operator and the Meganite which can get confusing but is also very fun. The humans are pretty easy to control using the d-pad and face buttons but the use of the shoulder buttons and analog sticks to control the Meganite makes them awkward but then again shouldn't something that big be at least a little hard to control? I haven't gotten much past the tutorial but the game does look like it will be very fun, and unique, to play.

Best giant robot game ever!I heard about this game years ago and was finally able to find a copy on eBay. It's pretty much how I always imagined a game involving giant robots would play. The use of the human character as the 'camera' was also an original concept, so you'd have to switch between him and the Meganite every so often to get the best vantage point to watch this battle of the titans. The control scheme took a while to get used to but soon enough it became second nature to use the shoulder buttons to walk and the analog sticks to throw punches.in essence, you really feel like you're controlling a massive robot and pounding its opponent into oblivion.Only real criticisms involve the voice acting and that you can't skip some of the tedious cinematics (only fast forward through them), but they're minor problems in comparison to all the aforementioned pros.I only hope that they someday make a sequel for the PS3 and explore the concept even further.
