Mazes Of Fate Cheats
I'm about 8hrs in. That sounds like the temple I'm stuck in, the one in underworld. I'm having trouble getting into the top left corner of Temple I, but the rest is uncovered.what exactly do you have to left to uncover?
My bottom floor looks like yours with the six stairways, but that's about it. Maybe we can help eachother through it. If we're stuck in different places, maybe we could get pictures of our maps up. And are the blue, multi-armed, tongue-monsters still attacking you (because you haven't talked to their leader yet?).
There are a.lot. of secret passages on that level and you need them to progress. I'm blindly feeling walls. Very happy about the 'tools' sold in temple II. They're so much better than lockpics for my guy. They're cheaper, don't break, and I'm actually getting chests open with my limited lockpick talent.right now I'm looking for some old parchment for the ghost nerd, looking for the ghost chef so I can give him the stuff the ghost girl gave me,trying to figure out the small room with three switches and a niche.and looking for that high priest guy so I can give him that gargoyle's key and letter and show him my symbol thing.I think once I figure out how to uncover the top left portion of the main floor, I should be able to solve at least two of those.BTW,.HELLUVA GAME.
Best dungeon crawler in 10 years and one of the best RPGs on GBA. It might even be my favorite RPG on the system depending on how things go.
Who would have thought it would be from a team in Argentina? (they roleplay in argentina?) I really like the plot with god's chosen people-the goatmen. And I have a feeling the plot's going to get.really. messed up when I learn more about the infighting between gods, and the archmages that stood up to their extermination plan.

Best part is that there aren't any princesses to save. Real shame it's so late in the gba's lifecycle, so few people will see this game. I liked it so much that I ordered a copy. Yes, I actually paid for something.anyway, if the emulator will take my m3 saves, I can probably get a shot of the maps up tomorrow, if not, maybe I'll have to go ghetto with my camera.
I'm at work now, so back to gaming. OK i'm farther now, I managed to get to the third level on the underground temple, and I think I've completed what I was supposed to do there. Currently I am about to enter the Fort thats south of the underground temple, now that I have the means by which to enter.Have you been finding all of the statuettes? There are 9 in total, so that one general store guy said.
They seem to be in inconspicuous parts of various mazes hidden in walled off section, triggered by the hidden / hard-to-see switches. One BIG hint that I've found helpful is if you are in the overworld and you look at your set of maps of the places you've already completely mapped out (or mapped as much as you could.) you will see open walls that are not on the map when you are in that actual maze. Thus far they have helped me find several statuettes. One open wall tho that I can't seem to figure out how to open is in the lower right of El Paso C, the one that I think may be Ivan's magic shop. I tried following the instructions on the note by putting a valuable gem in the niche and hitting the nearby hidden switch several times, but nothing happens. As far as how to get further in the underground temple, you have to find the blue key in the niche in the south center of Underground Temple I, where those two locks are, then slightly to the left, one of those niches. Do you know what the three switch room does?anyway, I found that key, that I somehow missed before. And got into the upper left of the map, but it wasn't as helpful as I had thought. No where near getting me to temple III, but the chef was up there.if anybody else is looking for secret walls, here's my old progress (before you showed me that key)(edit: seems like the important image has stopped working, if it doesn't fix itself by morning, I'll stick another copy on imageshack, I'm at work, away from the image now)I only have one statue.
I don't really care about them yet. Do you have the thief in your party? I didn't ask him to join when it was a menu option and now he just talks to me about a mission I've completed. Mtx mototrax.
Sad that such a great game might never see a store shelf. It's only available on ebay and amazon. Major retailers, seem to be turning it down flat (eb/gamestop). I've been watching the ebay quantity and they seem to have sold very few. 25 is my guess. Also notice that nobody seems to have a review of the game even though copies were sent to the gaming media.this is a totally word-of-mouth game. And yes, it is that good.as far as.ahem.
'getting' the game. It seems like the 0-day gba players are the only people buying it. Who is really going to buy a game from out of nowhere without even having the back of the box to look at? And it's much easier to grab and enjoy a 'backup' of a game that everybody knows will sell 200k copies, compared to 25. It's not quite guilt, but there is more of a feeling of obligation. I really want this game to succeed, but it doesn't look good.anyway, I'm now 13.5hrs in, and I'm about to try and get out to some island looking for something to unpetrify this wizard with.
I'm not entirely sure the wizard is friendly. Well, I'm done. I missed whole gobs of secrets but I finished the game. It's a nice storyline, but I thought it would open up more than it did. Instead this game is a very small piece of a larger sequel network that may or may not ever come out-I just wanted to take the story farther.
Maybe have one of those archmages zap me somewhere where I could fight the evil gods driving the game.It was a very good experience, and I'm thinking of restarting with a different character type. Dumar, the warrior made killing enemies far too easy.
And there are places only people with high mage or rogue skill can go, so I'm going to play it through again (or start to). Honestly the game's replay value would be much better helped by including a 'random dungeon' area, however.overall I say it's a solid 88%. I may throw a review on gamespot or ign-because I don't think anybody 'official' is going to write one.
