In other songs, he would use elements from various Mega Man songs in order not to break the cohesion of the original soundtrack.
Esquivel based most of the sounds on the first two Mega Man games, but had also used sounds from Mega Man 3, 4, and 5. Esquivel also added original compositions within several songs including two completely original compositions: 'Willy Map Theme' and the beginning of the 'Ending' theme. The notable video game company, also one of the biggest fighting game developers & publishers, known as Capcom issued a closing off the 25th anniversary of the “Street Fighter” series. In 2013, it will be the 25th anniversary of “Mega Man” which is another popular series that came from Capcom. In “Marvel vs. Capcom,” Mega Man and several characters from the Street Fighter series would represent the Capcom side. The same thing happened again for “Marvel vs. Capcom 2.” When it came for “Tatsunoko vs. Capcom,” Mega Man Volnutt along with a few Street Fighter characters represented the Capcom side.
When “Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds” came out, it would be Zero from the “Mega Man X” series along with a few Street Fighter characters that represented the Capcom side. However, there was never a serious crossover between Street Fighter and Mega Man.
Capcom, in its press release, has announced that all PC users will be able to download a copy of “Street Fighter X Mega Man” from its online store known as “.” The download will be for free.
