Also when me and my friend were playing when we all joined the game my friend had 3 avatars and kg was so annoying so I got off the game because I was getting really mad. This thread. So first, we've changed the base rules - now, in order to accuse, a player must say 'STOP THE CLOCK: I accuse X'. In order to flip, a Spy must say 'STOP THE CLOCK' then reveal their spy card and guess a location. This prevents a lot of 'I SAW YOU TOUCH YOUR CARD YOU'RE THE SPY', which happened. Enough. But onto all-Spy game rules. We played it this way:.If you suspect everyone is a Spy, you may stop the clock, reveal your spy card, and ask 'are we all spies?'

If you are not all Spies, you lose instantly, and everyone gets to laugh at you. If you are all Spies, just you win.If you reveal your card and guess a location and everyone is a Spy, just you lose. Very funny. If you successfully accuse someone of being the Spy and they are unanimously convicted, just you win. This is pretty funny. If time runs out, everyone loses. We like this because it produces a slightly tilted meta where spies are slightly less likely to flip their cards and guess a location in regular gameplay for the risk of it being an all-spy game.

It's pretty funny. I love spyfall, but I have trouble getting people to play it. Even though they seem to enjoy it when we do.

I think some people are put off by the creative aspect of it and have trouble thinking up questions. Has anyone ever tried playing with giving the players a list of potential questions? I'm not sure if that would solve the problem or take away from it too much.Oddly, most people seem to prefer Codenames instead, despite the fact that I think it suffers from the same problem but has a lot more down time while people think up clues. (I was actually pretty disappointed by Codenames). I like both but I find Codenames a bit easier to get into.

Spyfall is kind of awkward because questions and answers both should extract information from other players, signal to them that you know the location, and obfuscate the actual location from the spy. And, for the spy, questions and answers should do all of that without actually knowing what the location is in the first place! It's a bit rough on me as a player and I can only imagine it's the same for others.Codenames is much more straightforward, though. Sure, it's certainly nice if you can mislead the other team with your clues, but all you really need to do is direct your team to the correct clues or interpret your spymaster's clues correctly. It feels a lot more low-pressure and casual to me. Always hilarious and very easy to introduce to newer gamers.

So funny to watch your friends try to come up with ambiguous yet useful questions to ask while trying to bluff and figure out the spy.The availability of the game is convenient and plays really well, great for impromptu situations. Whenever I play with the the cards though I give each player a card with all the locations so the spy doesn't have to constantly refer to the locations sheet in the middle of the table.Looking forward to Spyfall 2 this fall!. Does anyone actually keep track of the score while playing this game? My group just has too much of a good time while playing so we find it kind of pointless to count points.Marvelous game, all in all!

It's constantly so tense, but all of a sudden everyone will break out in laughter over a question or a voting gone horribly wrong. The best moment I ever had with this had the car mechanic as its location. One of my friends asks the question 'How's it going?' To a non-spy, and gets the answer 'It's rolling on as per usual.'

Cue everyone breaking down with laughter over the cleverness, and the spy being accused and outed because he laughed just a tiny bit too little (since he didn't get the joke and was just laughing along to fit in).
